Who truly deserves godhood?

“Blood and Wrath! Oh goddess, tell me the wrath of the Consort of the Blessed One,

The Mad King, The Empyrean, The Ethereal Sovereign, The Last Elder: Khayin Rolfan.

The story of a god, upheaving the balance of the universe, destroying the multiverse on a whim.”

-Retriac the Humble

The world of Draconis Umbra, Ghost of the Dragon

The World of Melāshia, known as Draconis Umbra and Lahrem, formed from the corpse of the Blood Dragons, Krwi Smok, created by the seven Beings. The kingdoms of Rolferi, Auden, Oligerd, Anorāshta, Fyke Islands, Meroplene, Oxenshire, Sashīrāshta, Nūnarāshta, and Gventaloka all formed a unbalanced peace, fragile and shaking. How did the powers change? More importantly, why did they change?

Here is the first draft of the world building that I have done. This is the progress so far. Many of the biological markers were taken from the help of Syd Hoskins, a biology major at Purdue University who attended the same time I did.

Below are the rest of Appendices

A diligence of true war,

A time of rejoice and mourning,

Dead comrades and allies on the battlefield floor;

Their bodies that no longer feel winter’s sting or summer’s breeze

Destroyed forts and castle walls,

Deserted lands from Tylmere to Audentis’s Walls,

An empire now fallen from rebels:

To a revolution of colonies that have been razed to level

Below is the poem written in the Alāndār script.

The Last Elder, a renunciated king, worked as a mercenary till he let his family die.

The Mistress of Magic, Banrion, and the Night’s Abomination, Luna, laid dead at the hands of another Girl of the Gods.

The tradition of a Blood Feud must be broken. Tradition to take revenge on kin should the wrongdoer perish. But why?

Why challenge tradition?
